Mr. Oppenheimer is the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy, Growth, & Transformation Officer of HSS, an organization whose mission is to advance the field of musculoskeletal medicine through world-class patient care, research, and education. HSS is nationally ranked #1 in orthopedics and #2 in rheumatology by U.S. News & World Report and has been top ranked in its specialties for 14 consecutive years. Newsweek ranks HSS #1 in the world for orthopedics.

Mr. Oppenheimer joined HSS in 2013 and has since held various leadership positions including Enterprise Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Today, he helps drive the organization’s sustained reputation and profitable growth by leading the development and execution of the organization’s strategy and overseeing many aspects of its strategic operations.

Prior to joining HSS, Mr. Oppenheimer was a management consultant at the Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte) where he served as an Engagement Manager for the Strategy practice, consulting to Fortune 500 companies across the healthcare industry.

Mr. Oppenheimer is a co-founder of EngagedHealth, an annual summit for national healthcare leaders across sectors. He serves on the Board of Directors on several HSS subsidiaries and related businesses including RightMove, as well as OrthoVentions, a orthopedic medical device incubator. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Urban Dove, a New York-based charter school management organization.

Mr. Oppenheimer holds a BA in Political Economy and a Certificate in Finance from Princeton University, and MBA from Harvard Business School.
